Laura Witsken (b. 1997) is a dancer and collaborator based in NYC. She has worked professionally with choreographers Nicole Mannarino, Katie Swords Thurman, and Adrienne Westwood.
Laura was a 2022 Artist in Residence at MOtiVE Brooklyn where she presented her first solo work guided by dramaturgical exchange with Sydney Donovan (Philadelphia). Laura works with Jordan Reanne Patt (NYC) in their ongoing improvisation practice, experimenting in movement and film.
Laura has worked in production and artistic administration for Nicole Mannarino (10 Seconds til Midnight, TUNE, DIVE and FLY), Adrienne Westwood ([ ], box/truck and s o u n d ing line) and MICHIYAYA Dance (company assistant from 2020-2022).
Laura is an alumna of The University of the Arts (Philadelphia) and holds a BFA in dance and minor in business. Upon graduating she was awarded the College of Performing Arts Senior Fellowship.
Laura is a certified Pilates instructor, teaching locally at Pilates Habitat.
